Baduy (adj). filipino slang - old-fashioned, obsolete, lacking in great sense of fashion or being "in" in terms of pop culture
  • Evil Step Mom

I've got something inside that I just can't hide anymore. Well as you know, my honey and I got back together from my last leave and along with that came his love child from his former beau who was after / before me. I just LOATHE it. It's their dog Hopia (named after the kid who portrayed Kris's character from her soap "Hiram" - "Borrowed"). I was never made to be a "madrasta" (Step Mom) and I can never be Julia Robert's character too though I'm trying. Would you even believe that Bitch (refering to the dog's mom though the term fits him literally too) asked me thru text to take good care of Hopia now that we're back together cause it's likely that he won't see him/it ever again. BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA...

What he doesn't know is that I was thinking of putting it for adoption but I just can't coz my honey's family adores this monster. I was feeling hopeless already luckily I thought of back-up plan. I'll bribe a "tambay" (bum / haggard) to kidnap Hopia and sell it to the alcoholics to cook it and later be their posh "pulutan" (translation please K). To be more cruel, I'll kill it myself!!! I never liked dogs anyway especially this one. So just pray for my soul for I won't be kind. REALLY! Call me names, tell me I shouldn't be insecure. Tell you, I AM NOT. I just don't like it. Makes me sick to the bones!

  • Pussy Meow

After Reading K's post on Ginger (his Cat). I just remembered why I'm a fish person. They don't bite nor scratch your furnitures nor just shit and pee anywhere. Just let them be and they'll live provided you clean their tank once in a while.

Also, I've got a little hang over of his meme. I've got to make one. Now, since I've been out of Manila for a long time, I realized that the saying is true - You get to be "baduy" (again K translation pls) and not realize it. Now, my current Baduy addiction. Here's the list but before that watch this: (Highly Recommended)

  1. Watching Pinoy soaps thanks to TFC and You Tube. Bituing Walang Ningning is coming up very soon. Just so excited.)
  2. Loving Aegis to the core.
  3. Collecting chismis mags from Manila.
  4. Dancing to the tune of "Ang Ganda Ko" ( Pretty Me) by Sandara Park
  5. True Fan of Claudine and Sharon

I know by this time you hate me already. Hahahahaha... I don't even believe it myself. Well now, don't be shy come on and open up.

Passenger Complain No. 2- Not Going Anywhere

This is why I always wonder
I'm a pond full of regrets
I always try to not remember rather than forget
This is why I always whisper
When vagabonds are passing by
I tend to keep myself away from their goodbyes
Tide will rise and fall along the bay
and I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
People come and go and walk away
but I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
This is why I always whisper
I'm a river with a spell
I like to hear but not to listen,
I like to say but not to tell
This is why I always wonder
There's nothing new under the sun
I won't go anywhere so give my love to everyone
Tide will rise and fall along the bay
and I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
People come and go and walk away
but I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
Not Going Anywhere - Keren Ann

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My eyes may have seen the beauty of world but it's blinded by tears for I deeply long for the people whom I'd rather be with than be in a place alone, cold and lonely...

Yet, I'm still here. Trying to smile though my heart aches. Looking up the sky holding back my tears. Checking my watch and patiently waiting... I know I will be... for as long as I still can cause I'm not going anywhere... I'm can't go anywhere...

Flight No. 003 - Munich

  • Ex Doha

Flight was full and delayed. No thanks to upgrades from business class and some other stuff. Luckily, I have a fantastic staff to back me up with my galley (aircraft's kitchen) and the cabin. Was flying with this Iranian girl Sarah and my wonderful Filipina CSD (purser) Johanna. Also, I had a understanding Captain from Algiers and a very warm Pakistani First Officer. European sector passengers aren't that difficult to handle which made the flight easy since I am to do a Full Lunch Dinner Service - Hors d'oeuvres with Caviar, Salad, Main Meal, Cheese and Fruits, Desserts, Hot Beverages and Refreshments just before landing!. Whew! thought it was not going to end. What can I do? My company does look after our passengers needs and we do feed them well. That's 5 star service for you. The flight was 6 hours 10 minutes, just didn't notice it as it did fly by...

  • Immaculate white

After the job's been done, I went to the hotel and slept. The next day, I was rewarded by the good Lord a beautiful white morning for my hardwork. It was my first snow... my jaw just dropped when I opened my window blinds. Time to experience it now so I went to the city and had a fantastic time.

  • Oink Oink

Well, your not in Germany til you hava a taste of their pork. It's just so lovely. I mean, it has no smell, so clean and the flavor is just there. I didn't even believe they have a version of our famous "chicharon". To top it up, Johanna bought me "Crispy Pata" along with "Sarsa ni Mang Tomas" and a plateful of rice. yum! yum! Truly this trip is one of my best. Hope next time I get to go here on October. I heard Oktoberfest is just soooo wild I already have things playing on my mind on what to expect plus beer would be over flowing. Pork and beer? whatta combination!

Chapter 1.5 In Sickness and Love

I was sick these past few days. That explains my not being able to update my blog and also my being bed-ridden. I came to realize just now in my two years of stay here in Doha, that it's never easy to be sick and tend to yourself at the same. I felt really low in spirit. I was feverish, drowsy and all and yet still I have to stand up go get myself meds, cook noodles and force myself to eat. I even sent myself to the hospital the next day looking unhealthy even in my best semi business attire. I carried myself out of my flat for this is the only way I know I'll get better. I even regret it that I called in sick for a flight yesterday. This wouldn't have happened if my family was here. I miss my days when my mom would attend to me when I'm sick (I'm actually teary-eyed now). She would ask me what I wanna eat and my usual answer would be "Jollibee Spaghetti". My siblings would then put some warm water and a touch of alcohol in the basin and prepare me for a sponge bath. Afterwhich, they will delicately tuck me in my bed and put a cold towel on my forehead. Leaving me all warm, comfy and cared for. *sniff*

Now, I'm all better again somehow and preparing later for my flight to Zurich. Things really have changed and at this point I came to know what to do and I what should prepare for when I get senile and weaker (Insurance anyone?).

On a less depressing note, since I was a hermit for days, hoarding all the rubbish in my room from dirty plates, medicine foils, soiled clothings, snotted tissues etc., I came to again enjoy watching all my fave love stories. A movie marathon cut by napping in between. I was also guilty of not bathing and brushing my teeth for days.. ewwww... I was just so incredibly dirty. I would just get up to pee, check my mails, my online roster and then back to bed. Anyways, I wanted to share you this 2 foreign Love Movies (you better be ready to strain your eyes from reading subtitles) truly compelling and better than the Notebook although I'm a fan of Nicholas Sparks (His works are better off read believe me). Now you'll probably know a bit of me further. When I'm cut, I deepen the wound further to numb me. Such a masochist hahahahaha. When I cry I cry it out til it dries up then I will be fine.

il Mare (The Sea) - A Korean love story of 2 people from different time connected by the same sea front house where they both lived. One looking after the other. From the death of the boy's father to saving the girl from an impending heartbreak that will actually change the course of her life.

Turn Left Turn Right - A tale of lost lovers played in by fate. This is Serendipity chinese style and better (because of Takeshi Kaneshiro hehehehe) except for the ending which i won't spoil. One thing I love about this movie is the poem interpreted by the girl which is the very core of the whole story - Love at First Sight by Wislawa Szymborska

They both thought that a sudden feeling had united them
This certainty is beautiful,
Even more beautiful than uncertainty.
They thought they didn't know each other,
nothing had ever happened between them,
These streets,
these stairs,
this corridors,
Where they could have met so long ago?
I would like to ask them,if they can remember
-perhaps in a revolving doorface to face one day?
A "sorry" in the crowd?
"Wrong number" on the 'phone?
- but I know the answer.No, they don't remember.
How surprised they would be
For such a long time already
Fate has been playing with them.
Not quite yet ready to change into destiny,
which brings them nearer and yet further,
cutting their path
and stifling a laugh,
escaping ever further; (an excerpt)

Crew Rest No. 5

  • Face off

The Evil Maid posing in her beautifully sequined Thai costume challenges The so-called Leopard/Leotard Girl her hair humbly wrapped neatly [?] in a towel. Before Diane finally leaves the country, she challenges mwah for a duel. But it's not a secret who will reign supreme. *wink*

Ahhh... I'll miss doing this. I'll miss making fun of her... Laughing together and enjoying each other's corny jokes. I'll miss Diane... I'll miss my partner in crime... I'll miss my best friend. It's time to let you go now. Fly Away girl.. Fly Away... *wipes tears* *blows nose loudly*
